Weimaraner training
Weimaraner originated in the uk and were bred to hunt and protect they were particularly used to hunt large prey such as deer and wild boars.

On the whole they are good family pets showing devotion and loyalty but if they are not properly socialized they can quickly become aggressive.
You must train these dogs early and make sure they accept you as the alpha pack member.

Weimaraner are extremely sociable animals and need close contact with their owners most of the time they can become very nervous and unsociable when left alone they tend to be over loyal and can be excessively aggressive towards any threat to their owner.
Their instinctive hunting instincts mean they will often kill small prey IE birds squirrels and possibly even the family cat if he is not socialized to it.
Weimaraner need to be thoroughly socialized with children as they are very excitable dogs and don’t take kindly to being pulled about or jumped on . being so excitable means they can also be clumsy and knock people children and furniture over.
Weimaraner should be trained as soon as possible and should always be obtained from responsible breeders they need to be fully socialized and kept close to the family not left in the yard.
They need a lot of exercise and have a lot of excess energy they love to jump and are capable of springing high which makes them a little clumsy.
Correct obedience training is imperative for this breed and if you teach your dog to respond to your commands he will be a loyal and protective pet who will guard you with his life.
