Toy poodles are very sensitive delciate dogs that are basically lap dogs they do not need excessive amounts of excercise and can be great pets providing you can give them enough love and attention.

Toy poodles can be prone to nervousness and over sensitivity they are often snappy and easily stressed which can make them ill.

Toy poodles are good companions with high intelligence and extreme loyalty they will react to their owners moods and become distressed if their owner is distressed.

They love to be absorbed with toys and games and are very good at creating interesting games with unusual household objects, their high intelligence makes them good candidates for obedience training , they are very popular at dog shows.

Toy poodles are not very dominant dogs but look to be led, they need a lot of company and attention, if they are left alone in the house they can become very destrcitive ripping duvets, pillows and furniture.

If you have a lot of time and love to give to a small lap dog then these dogs are perfect and in exchange they will give a lot of love and loyalty to their owner, but be careful to keep them away from children and out of harms way.
